Mr. Isaiah's Third Grade Class

Hi everyone! My name is Isaiah Chaney. I was born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia, and moved to North Carolina in 2019 to play football at Wake Forest University—Go Deacs!

During my time at Wake Forest, I played on the defensive line and discovered my passion for teaching and mentoring kids, which led me to get my degree in Elementary education in 2023. I’m also a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, which is an organization that is built upon Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends. I’m known for my haircutting skills—many of the Wake Forest football players are my clients! I also enjoy working on cars and am usually the first person my friends and family call for repairs. Plus, if I see a beautiful body of water, you can bet I’ll be there the next day, fishing rod in hand! And let’s not forget—one of my favorite ways to relax is watching college and professional football games with all my favorite snacks. There’s nothing better than cheering on my former teammates, along with all the friends and family who are on the field, while enjoying some good food!

I’m super excited to start this school year with all of you. We’re going to have lots of fun, learn amazing things, and celebrate every little victory together. Let’s make this year unforgettable—welcome to the Chaney Tribe!
