Ashley Brady - 4th Grade Teacher

Welcome to fourth grade at ABS! Your students are now the biggest kids in the building and I can't wait to spend the year with them learning and leading. 

 

I'm entering my 5th year teaching at ABS but this will be my first year in 4th grade. I previously taught 3rd grade here and am excited to make this upward transition. I live here in Winston Salem with my husband, Ryan, three of our four kids; Harli (6th grade at ABS), Taryn (8th grade homeschooler), and Rohen (10th grade at Atkins). My oldest child, Cade, is entering their junior year at NC State University, majoring in Chemistry. In my life prior to teaching, I was a hair dresser turned stay at home mom. I went back to school to earn my BA in Teaching Schools and Societies with an Advocacy Concentration from Salem College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2020. I will begin pursuing a master's degree in the coming months as well.  

 

In my time away from school, I love all things beachy, visiting the mountains, and traveling with my friends and family. I love to sing, craft, and create! I'm always up for something fun, creative, and musical and I love to try new things. I'm looking forward to great adventures with you all this year!
