Anne Campbell – Third Grade Teacher
Annie moved to North Carolina with her husband, Kevin 15 years ago. She spent the first 17 years of her career teaching in the Adirondack Park in upstate New York. Annie has a BA in Theater Arts and an MS in Special Education. She is certified in elementary, special, and gifted education, as well as theatre arts. Annie taught fourth grade at Marvin Ward Elementary and HAG at Brunson Elementary before joining the staff at ABS. Annie enjoys beekeeping and harvesting honey with her husband. Her hobbies also include photographing their rock gardens, bunnies under their apple trees, and Clover & Willow, their furry felines. She loves to read children’s literature and historical fiction. Annie also loves serving in the women’s ministry at her church. She is very excited about beginning her fifth year teaching third grade at ABS with her amazing team!
Alysha Christian- Third Grade Teacher
Originally from Pennsylvania, Alysha graduated from High Point University in 2011 and has remained in North Carolina ever since. She has taught fifth grade in the past but is thrilled to continue her journey teaching third grade at ABS! Aside from teaching, Alysha loves to write and paint, read and craft, go hiking, and travel to new places.
Lauren Quintal- Third Grade Teacher
Lauren feels incredibly blessed to be going into another school year at ABS with the amazing 3rd grade team. Lauren graduated from High Point University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Theatre. She also has her M.Ed in STEM Education from HPU. Lauren is originally from the beautiful, snowy state of Maine. She loves reading, writing, singing, watching football, dancing, acting in plays and musicals, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. Lauren loves getting to come into ABS everyday and do what she loves most; pouring her passions into learning experiences, being creative and hands-on, getting to know and encourage the individuality and beautiful quirks of her students, and finding the joy, laughter, and curiosity in everyday.
