Christi fell in love with Arts Based School as a parent of three children who have been nurtured and challenged to think creatively & imaginatively at this school. She was thrilled to be asked to join the staff last year as a teaching assistant and looks forward to the year ahead.

Trish feels Kindergarten is a very special niche in children’s lives where they should be nurtured, appreciated for their uniqueness and encouraged to grow. Trish is not only a staff member but the parent of an ABS alum and a current middle schooler. When not teaching, Trish enjoys pursuing abstract art, visual literacy techniques and time with her family and dogs.

Melissa is thrilled to be cast in two roles at the Arts Based School, parent (to ABS students, Annabelle and Leo), and teaching assistant. Melissa values making connections with people. She loves to bake (food is one of her strongest love languages!) and read aloud. Melissa’s favorite things: going on adventures with her people, singing, hiking to waterfalls, jumping into Buzzards Bay in June, and making (and then eating) chocolate chip cookies.
